General Information

The Keough Memorial Academy began in 1989 as an alternative school for students who were not making progress in a traditional general educational setting. We continue that mission to this day. Our goal is to help students become successful and productive members of society by coupling high academic rigor and a focus on each student’s strengths to ensure a truly individualized educational experience. Keough Memorial Academy graduates have met all MCAS, NECAP, and credit requirements for a Massachusetts or Rhode Island High School Diploma in hopes that they may continue on with their post secondary education.

Our Mission

The Keough Memorial Academy is a welcoming community. We recognize and accept student’s unique learning and emotional needs. We provide pathways to personal growth in a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
