Keough Memorial Academy (KMA), located at 60 Harpin Street in Bellingham, MA, is a DESE-approved public therapeutic day school serving students in grades 7–12 within Bellingham Public Schools. Led by Principal Dr. Emily Luuri, KMA provides a small, structured, and trauma-informed learning environment designed to support students whose social-emotional or mental health needs—such as anxiety, depression, school avoidance, or autism with therapeutic needs—impact their ability to access learning in a traditional setting. Grounded in its core values—Safe, Kind, and Responsible—KMA integrates rigorous academics aligned with Massachusetts Frameworks alongside embedded therapeutic supports, including daily SEL instruction and counseling. Through a relationship-centered and strengths-based approach, KMA fosters student growth, re-engagement, and independence, with the mission of preparing students to meet graduation requirements and become successful, productive members of society.
